Heavy rain causes sewage backups

The rained only poured for a few hours but the storm dropped several inches of rain in that short period of time. The sudden surge of water overwhelmed the storm drains causing sewage backups in the Cambridge area. In this instance, a toilet overflowed causing category 3 water to spread to the basement offices. The protocol for category 3 water is to remove the carpet, pad and also to sanitize the floor below.
